My Sunday Photo - The Fifteenth Century Bookshop
A work meeting took me to Lewes in East Sussex this week, and I saw The Fifteenth Century Bookshop which I had to take a quick photo of.

I’m a sucker for history, and seeing a building that dates back several hundred years always captures my attention.
It’s not alone in Lewes, though. The town is a minefield of historic buildings and stories. You only have to wander up the High Street to see various plaques detailing major events that have happened nearby.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the town name is pronounced “Lewis” rather than “Loos” - something that locals were quick to point out!

If you head down the hill towards the town my office is located.
Have a very Merry Christmas.
Thank you for linking up and supporting My Sunday Photo this year.
I went up and down that hill more times than I care to remember that day, so I probably went past once or twice! If I’d have known, I’d have waved!

I love that little bookshop. It smells just wonderful. My eldest bought most of his Famous Five collection from there years ago.
I didn’t get a chance to go in to the bookshop but it’s definitely down as a place I want to go to.
