My Sunday Photo – YouTube Space London
As the kids are getting older, it’s not uncommon to have events on a schoolnight. Hence, last Tuesday evening we visited the Google YouTube Space London.
YouTube Space London is the first European YouTube Space.
It’s described as:
YouTube’s first production facility, bringing together resources for European YouTube creators to learn, share and create.
It’s open to anyone that meets the criteria (the main ones being aged 18+ and having more than 5,000 YouTube subscribers) If you meet the criteria, you can use the space for various different things, including meeting fans.
Charisma and Brooke, my eldest and youngest daughters, are mad-keen on certain YouTubers.
When Niki and Sammy revealed they were having a #NikiAndSammyParty at YouTube Space London, the girls were quick to jump online to see if they could get tickets, whilst at the same time asking me if I would be free to take them.
Fortunately, they managed to get tickets.
An excitable train trip later and we were at the impressive Google UK HQ, ready to meet the twins and partake in a Q&A with them.
We snapped this photo on the way out, and I think it’s the only photo from the evening that has all three of us in it.
Thank you to everyone at YouTube Space London who were amazing and extremely accommodating!
