The Hunger Site - Feed others, free of charge

I make no apologies for taking this idea from Money Saving Expert, but The Hunger Site is well worth talking about.

It’s Christmas, and hopefully, by the time you read this you’ll have swapped presents, had your Christmas dinner and be full of the Christmas spirit.

So why not give a little back? Help those less fortunate.

The Hunger Site allows you to click on a link and by doing so they will donate to a charity.  Two-thirds of the money raised goes to help the starving in developing countries and the remaining third goes to help those less fortunate in the United States (and in case you haven’t guessed, The Hunger Site is an American site).

Cups of food donated - the hunger site

You can see how much food has been donated.

You’ll have to excuse the fact that the site looks like something designed in the late 90s, the point is that you simply click a link and trigger a three-way win. The companies involved get great PR, you get to feel good and most importantly the starving get fed.

Simply click on The Hunger Site, look for the big yellow button that looks like the image below, and click away.  You can do that daily.

The hunger site - Feed the starving at no cost to yourself

It’s not the best-looking site, but that doesn’t matter. Just click the button when you get there.
