Sixty Word Fiction - Do you have no shame?
by DannyUK
Eleven years ago I entered a “Sixty Word Fiction” contest. This was my third short fiction entry.
“I know you hate my job mum,” Sarah said wearily.
“But all those men… and you… it makes me sick.” her mother trailed off.
“I enjoy it mum, the money’s good, and no-one’s getting hurt. Most of the men are single anyway”
“Most!” her mother replied indignantly.
“Besides, even if I resigned, the college would just find another nude model”

Love that you make the reader assume they’re discussing the daughter’s prostitution – great shock tactic at the end there. Very clever.
