My Sunday Photo – Playing with paper boats on the river.
by DannyUK
Living by the river means that the kids have taken to making and playing with paper boats on the river outside the flat.

A nice, simple and free activity which they all seem to love.

Now this has given me an idea about something to do with the kids during half term!

Who’s won? That water looks murky! My two would love this when older, far too young to be trusted not to fall in at present!

There was no wind, so no one won this time. I’m sure we’ll recreate it soon and get a winner.
That’s a good way to have fun in a flood.

It’s definitely high on the list of activities in wet weather.
Ooh this looks like fun!

Now if we’d try that somehow we’d all end up in the water

It’s cheap and easy to do, definitely worth giving a go!
How cute, a boat race!

My little one would love this but yeah, she’s too young and I’ll probably be too scared she’ll fall in to let her try. They seem to be having lots of fun though.

My lot love doing it. They don’t race them, they simply have competitions to see whose can stay afloat longest.
Oooh, a paper boat race!!! Great photo 🙂
