Milk bottle adverts!

The last time I saw milk bottles adverts in the UK was about two decades ago! I haven’t had a milkman since I was a kid, so I tend to get all of my milk from the local supermarket.

The girlfriend, though, likes supporting her local milk deliveries and so gets a couple of pints in her doorstep every day.
Visiting her recently, it was the first time in around two decades that I’d seen an advert on the side of a glass milk bottle. I’d forgotten they did this!
I remember seeing them as a kid, but they were few and far between, and we’d often go weeks without seeing a milk bottle with an advert on it. Of course, as I write that now it seems a lot less nostalgic that it feels. Perhaps this was in the days before I got a Sega Megadrive.
