With the festival being the flagship event of UK Coffee Week 2014, which runs from April 7-13, it also draws attention to the associated charity, Project Waterfall. The week will see a nationwide celebration of great coffee and industry collaboration to raise funds for the charity which aims to deliver safe drinking water, good sanitation and hygiene education in Africa. So far The London Coffee Festival has raised more than £180,000 for this worthy cause through ticket sales and onsite fundraising. 50% of ticket sales this year will go to Project Waterfall.
