Mumday Monday linky

About the linky!

The newest linky on the block.

I follow or read so many blogs, but skip through loads of posts as they are lost in a sea of sponsored content or non-parenty stuff. So I thought I’d start #MumdayMonday (or possibly #MomdayMonday if you’re American)

A new linky for and about mums. Quite simply, if you have written a blog post entry this week that is about your life as a mum, something your kids have done, something you’ve written about your own mum, a blog post entry about someone elses mum, how your life as a dad differs (or is the same as) a mum, or basically anything that you feel fits into the “mum” category, then link it here.

I want to read about real people, real lives and real families, and I hope that this is a way to get those posts on my radar. If you can share the link, then even better.

The hashtag is #MumdayMonday, and the linky will open on Sunday (I justify this by correctly claiming that when it goes live, it’ll be Monday somewhere in the world. Probably Christmas Island). The only rules are that you comment on at least two of the other posts in the link and then spread the #MumdayMonday love about this link up on Twitter.

The post you link up has to have been written in the last week. The link will go up on my blog every Sunday so that there are entries to read for the early risers on Monday morning.

Remember, the more people who link up, the more attention your post is likely to get so please spread the Mumday Monday word. Also, don’t forget to display the #MumdayMonday Badge (code below), again the more people who see it, the more attention your lovely post will get.

The code:

<div align=”center”><a href=”dannyuk.com/blog/2000/01/01/mumday-monday/” title=”Mumday Monday”><img src=”http://dannyuk.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Mumday-Monday-Hashtag-logo.png” alt=”Mumday Monday” style=”border:none;” /></a></div>

Mumday Monday

Finally, a big, big thank you to Vic from Vevivos.com whose text I pretty much stole from in order to write this page. She runs #PoCoLo which is, quite frankly, a brilliant linky. Check it out here.
